What this website does with your information, in plain language.
1. Who we are
This website belongs to Upright Lifts. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Upright Lifts.
2. Information you give us
The enquiry form on the Contact page and on each service page asks for your name, phone number, email (optional), building suburb or address (optional), the service and lift type you are asking about, your message, up to four photos (optional) and (optionally) how you found us. Photos are resized in your browser and their location data is removed before sending. An enquiry from a service page names that page. You can review your details before sending. The form:
- checks your entries in your browser and on our server;
- when direct sending is available and you choose Send enquiry, sends those details through our Vercel-hosted endpoint and Resend email service to enquiries@uprightlifts.com.au;
- also lets you open the details in your own email app or copy them. Those options only send an enquiry if you send the email yourself;
- does not add you to a mailing list or save your enquiry in a website database. Email copies and delivery records are handled by our email providers.
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out work on your lift, and keep records of that work. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. Resend, Vercel and mailbox providers process information to deliver and protect the enquiry service; processing may occur outside Australia. If you use your own email app, your email provider also handles that message under its terms.
3. Information collected automatically
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, enquiry steps and phone or email link taps to show us which pages are useful. It does not use cookies or identify you. It never receives what you type in the form or your contact details.
- We do not currently use cookie-based analytics or advertising pixels. If we add them (such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Meta Pixel or Google Ads), they will stay off until you accept them in the cookie preferences that will then appear on this website, and this policy will be updated. See Cookies.
- No social media widgets.
- Fonts and images are served from this website. Vercel BotID runs a browser challenge for enquiry submissions and processes security signals to check for automated requests. Security scripts are proxied through this website.
- Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, time, page requested and browser type) to run and secure the site.
4. Client names and logos
The client logos on our home page belong to their owners and come from each organisation’s own website. They are shown to illustrate who we work with and remain their owners’ trademarks.
5. Links to other websites
Links to email, phone or other websites open outside this site. Those services handle your information under their own policies.

We will update this policy if the website changes how it handles information, for example if we add an online form that sends directly to us. The date at the top shows the latest version.
