Thyssenkrupp and TKE lift repairs and servicing

For existing thyssenkrupp and TK Elevator lifts. Tell us about the lift and we will look for an independent lift company that covers your area.

One manufacturer, more than one name

Thyssenkrupp sold its elevator business in 2020, and it now trades as TK Elevator, often shortened to TKE. Depending on when the lift was installed, the equipment, manuals and service contract may show thyssenkrupp, TK Elevator or TKE. Include whichever name you can see when you enquire.

Thyssenkrupp and TKE lift repairs

Send an enquiry if the lift has stopped, is stopping between floors, has door faults or keeps going out of service. Say which lift is affected, when the problem started and whether it repeats. The cause needs assessment of the actual equipment, not a diagnosis from a website form.

Thyssenkrupp and TKE lift servicing and maintenance

Share the lift details, the last service date and the current agreement. Ask which visits, parts, repairs and call outs are included, and which are charged separately, before agreeing to a scope.

What to include in your enquiry

  • Site suburb and the affected lift
  • The name shown on the equipment: thyssenkrupp, TK Elevator or TKE
  • What the lift is doing, or the service you need
  • Current maintenance agreement and service records

Common questions

Is TKE the same company as thyssenkrupp?

TK Elevator is the name the former thyssenkrupp elevator business has traded under since 2020. Lifts installed before then may still carry the thyssenkrupp name.

Can I change from a TKE maintenance contract?

Check the term, notice period and conditions of your current agreement first. An enquiry does not cancel an existing contract.
