Try your current lift company first

If a company already maintains the lift, its breakdown contact is the fastest route, and the agreement may cover the call out. The number is often on a sign in the lift or in the building records. If you do not have a provider or cannot reach them, send us an enquiry.

What to tell us

Explain whether the lift is occupied, which building and lift are affected, and who can meet the technician. This website is not an emergency dispatch service and enquiries are not monitored around the clock, so select the urgent timeframe on the form and do not rely on it if anyone is at risk.

Call outs for different lift types

Enquiries are welcome for commercial lifts, residential lifts, goods lifts and dumbwaiters. Mention which equipment is affected and any details visible without accessing restricted areas. Confirm the scope and cost of a call out with the lift company before work starts where circumstances allow.
